When I go to the Windows backup snap-in, everything is empty and writes that the service has stopped. What to do? Reinstalling the component did nothing!
What methods are there to return the original position.

Problem solved. Rebuilt the directory on the command line wbadmin delete catalog entered. The service has earned
p.s. checkpoints were not deleted, all remained working

If it says that the service is stopped, you need to start it. if it does not start, you need to figure out why and fix the start.
