Windows Server 2012 why are the roles missing?

There are 2 domain controllers. There are several server machines in the domain (Windows Server 2012). A server machine with wsus on board has recently crashed. Under this business decided to transfer wsus to other machine. When you try to add the wsus role to any server machine, this role simply does not exist. In general, the list of possible roles for adding is very short

. On domain controllers, the list of possible roles is complete.
A few days before the wsus server crash, management decided to install Kaspersky Security Center (maybe this is somehow related...). Its agents are installed on all server machines.
Where have the roles gone?

Here's an alternative way to install roles. Specifically, using the example of WSUS in windows server 2012

Try it, if the problem is only in displaying roles in the interface - it should help.
Directly to solve the problem: always, if something is wrong with the system, it is first advised to check the system with DISM.
if the system is updated normally with windows update
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
and if windows update is broken too:
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:C:\RepairSource\Windows /LimitAccess
Repair Windows Image
Windows Repair Source
