Windows Server 2008 R2: Why won't the terminal server connect to the license server?
The situation is this:
There are two domain controllers. On the first one, the role of licensing remote desktops was raised, licenses "per user" were installed. On the second one, the Remote Desktop Session Host is raised, the configuration is set to the same mode "per user" and the first licensing server is registered.
Issue:
On the session host, the Licensing Diagnostic says "Number of licenses available to clients: 0". I select the licensing server, click "provide credentials" and enter the login / password of the domain administrator - nothing happens.
I tried to set the location of the license server through group policies, set security groups, disable the "Default Domain Controllers Policy", but nothing helps.
If you install the session node in the same place where the licensing is, then it sees the available licenses there. And from other server does not see. What could be the problem?

Most likely on the licensing server you have licenses for a different version of the terminal server. Check.
