With the fifth raid, you have two options:
1) install the system on the first disk, build R5 out of the three remaining ones, using built-in tools
2) install a separate controller and assemble the raid on it. disadvantage: not all controllers will fit there, not all controllers can create arrays of more than 2Tb.
considering the volumes, you will have to use GPT partitioning of disks, whether 2008 can boot from GPT disks, I don’t remember.
