Windows often crashes, what could be the problem?
The old computer worked on XP, it took Win 7 or higher, set it to 8.1, it worked fine for 3 days, but then after turning it on, after the BIOS, a black screen (not turned off, like a black background, the carriage does not blink either) and Windows does not boot. Tried both 7th and 10th (except for XP), the same thing after some time. After that, it is not possible to install XP, the same black screen after the inscription "Checking computer configuration". I thought that it was the HDD that covered itself, I checked it in Victoria, there is not a single mistake. Who faced? Parameters just in case: CPU: Core 2 duo, ddr2 3 gb. I noticed that it requires formatting the C: drive (on which the system was) after it goes into a coma.

I assume malfunctions with the power supply of the motherboard or its individual blocks (pay attention to swollen conders), it would not be bad to test the RAM! If these components are without visible defects and testing does not reveal anything, the PC brain is sick.
The file system is corrupted. There are two probable problems:
1) crooked drivers (for example, sata controller)
2) crooked software (for example, acronis)
