Windows layout switching delay
When I click on the layout switching combination (Ctrl + Shift in my case), the change does not occur immediately, but with a second delay. As a result, when you quickly type text in different layouts, it often turns out that after pressing Ctrl + Shift and typing a few characters, the layout does not change, you have to erase what you typed and try to switch again. Text is typed correctly only if you wait a short time after pressing Ctrl + Shift, which is annoying and slows down the pace of typing.
I use Windows 7, I don't use punch switches and stuff. This has happened before, including in past reinstallations. How to deal with it?

I was digging with the same problem throughout the registry for a delay, I came across this:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\Keyboard Response
параметр DelayBeforeAcceptance.
the default is 1000, I put 200 in. it seemed to help)
It is Windows 7 that has nothing to do with it - I definitely had this on Vista and XP and 2000.
Was also wondering. I was surprised that I manage to type 3-5-7 characters and only after that the language changes. Didn't find a solution.
Too fast typing :).
I have to switch directly to the layout (that is, not in a cycle, but Alt + Shift + 1 English, Alt + Shift + 2 Russian), I don’t notice a pause.
