Everything starts to lag a lot, as soon as I turn off the "windows update center" service, everything immediately starts working normally, this problem has already been noticed on 6 machines.

Same problem, did anyone find anything?
On fresh Windows 7 SP1, "update agent 7.6.7600.320" is installed and that's it.
After that, regular means of updating do not work anymore. What I just did not try, nothing helps.
On fresh Windows 7, without updates, everything works until the installation of SP1 and the new agent.
Not otherwise, MS tweaked something in connection with the release of Windows 10. Before that, everything was fine many times.
It started just 1-2 months ago.
