Windows 7 slows down on SSD

Moved system from HDD to Сrucial RealSSD 64Gb using Acroins TrueImage. A couple of hours later I ran into a problem.

When reading in Firefox (in Google reader) rss feeds with regular images, the browser freezes for half a second if you scroll or go down the page using PageDown. What could be the problem?

It's not the SSD that slows it down. This is FF.

Look at Windows resource monitoring, do you have enough memory to work? And then Windows disables the cache.
In general, I have a seven on ssd, 8GB of memory, a dual-core core, after switching to ssd everything just flies divinely, it even seems to me that I have become less nervous.
What mode is the screw in? Try Ahci.
Have you tried a clean Windows?

By the way, there is a similar problem, I sinned that the ssd is already outdated and Windows is crap.

Opera. Chromium. Everything flies. Firefox set - too ... In terms of ssd performance - run the trim. In this way - the seven is just 0 - the only one of the windows that can work correctly with the ssd out of the box.
And yes, check if AHCI is in bios. If IDE is bad for ssd.

I think it hangs due to the fact that the fox writes all the pictures to the cache, and immediately saves it to disk. Could it be? And if so, what can be done to cure it?

See if there is an additional load on the processor at these moments. If it goes, I think ssd is useless.

By the way, I found an interesting thread on the manufacturer's forum
