Windows 7 fails to enter password after waking up from sleep mode. How to fix?

Can't enter password after waking up from sleep mode. Characters are not printed. The on-screen keyboard from Accessibility doesn't work either. The mouse is working fine. Have to reload. After the reboot, the password is entered. What is it for? How to fix? This has not been observed before. I don't want to reset my password.

Turning off the mouse (USB) helped me, for some reason it always caused such a thing. Decided to replace the mouse. I have no idea how. It still works on another computer. Try turning off all USB devices.
It also seems that it may be a non-starting disk after falling asleep. Try disabling disks after 20 minutes if you have to.

Look at Disable Disk in Power Options. If it's a laptop, then it's easier to put it to sleep with the required minimum of running applications. If the hospital, then it makes no sense to turn off the disk.
