Windows 10 x86 or x64 trends in 2018?

I know the difference between x86 (x32) and x64 bit systems and processors, but I have not yet figured out the current trends in bit depth differences in windows 10.
If earlier, in the days of windows 7, it was obvious that if you have a powerful processor and more than 3GB of memory, then you need to install x64. If your processor is weak, or does not support x64 at all and 3GB or less memory, then it is better to set x32 (x86) and 7ka will work many times faster.
plus, x32 processors still existed before, the relevance of making systems of different bitness was, but now why are they releasing windows 10 x86? what is its advantage and the main question, in addition to the previous requirements for the amount of RAM for x86 and x64 - is there still a significant difference in the operation of these systems? Will x86 load an old processor less than x64 will do, or is this already a myth? in what other cases, besides a small amount of RAM, is it worth installing windows x86 instead of x64?

I think Microsoft will refuse to release x86 builds. Because there are fewer and fewer such processors, and there are a lot of programs that require only x64.
