Windows 10 taskbar search not working, how to fix?

The search on the taskbar stopped working, it is always empty when you enter any character:

I've already tried all the methods on Google, nothing helped. I even rolled back the system for a day - it's all the same, although the problem appeared only yesterday.
The windows Search service is enabled, I rebuilt the search indexes, Cortana is not installed, according to diagnostics, this error:

which is not automatically corrected

Check the operation of the services that are responsible for the search. In this case, Windows Search and all the others that are associated with it. If disabled, then enable, if enabled, then stop, and then set the automatic start and turn it on yourself.

This issue was resolved at 12:00 PM PST. If you are still experiencing issues, please restart your device. In rare cases, you may need to manually end the SearchUI.exe or SearchApp.exe process via Task Manager. (To locate these processes, select CTRL + Shift + Esc then select the Details tab

They offer to reboot, the type should work by itself.
Personally, I was too lazy to restart, and immediately went on to the proposed solution to nail SearchUI in the task manager. Helped me right away.
