Win7 on an old PC?

Good afternoon, there is such a computer
DDR2 RAM - 3 GB (1 + 1 + 512 + 512)
Proc - AMD Athlone 3200 + x2
Nvidia - GT 320
SSD - Sata II - 120 GB Now it

costs LinuxMint 20.1 XFCE
tabs open or watching videos on YouTube.
I think maybe on Win7 HomeBasic x86 it will work more less, since even linux envy me tightly.
I write code at work, namely, I work with PHP sublimeText + Filezilla + Mozilla, this is constantly open

Yes, there is no particular difference which OS.
The browser is low on memory.
If you want to use a browser, put at least 8GB of RAM.

if the question is not to invest money in an old computer, then you can put a 7-ku slaughtered to the bone, kill everything superfluous in startup and not open many tabs (as suggested above).
Adding RAM is the best solution.
There is also a server RAM tuned for AMD. on Avito tore off for 500r. for 2 sticks of 4 GB.

when many tabs are open
can boot a machine into 16GB of RAM, I highly recommend plugins like The Great Suspender (this one killed itself by collecting and selling private information)
video on youtube
install proprietary drivers, directly from the regular driver control panel
ps I remember I managed to open pages in firefox in linux on a machine with 1gb of ram (eeepc 900 is so slow that youtube did not work, as it spends more resources on downloading than showing a video), after drinking my build of gentoo with desktop DE is awesome (memory consumption of OS with graphics was 54MB)
