win 7 system restore failed, how to turn on the computer?
Hi all!
I'll tell you in order.
The computer functioned normally, but at a certain point it just hung. It was decided to reboot it (it also turned out that the thermal paste had dried up and the processor was very hot). After that, the splash screen "American ..." appeared and then a black screen and a dash in the corner. I went into the BIOS, did a reset, the black screen disappeared and it began to offer to start in normal mode or in safe mode. In the case of the usual one, the win 7 boot screen appears and reboots. In the case of a safe, it offers to restore the system. I clicked start recovery - "could not find the problem." In the case of system restore from saved copies - error 0x800700b7. I connected the hard drive to another PC as the second one, transferred all the data just in case. How to turn on the computer now?) Can this be done without reinstalling Windows? Because

In the BIOS, the hard disk controller mode was probably set to IDE emulation and upon reset it changed to AHCI - and this is a different device, there are no drivers for it in the kernel of the system - naturally, after loading the kernel, it crashes because the hard disk is not found. Change it back the way it was.
