Will you entrust your passport scan to a thematic social network to buy a service online?

The projected thematic social network will provide a service for buyers and sellers.
To complete the transaction, the buyer must transfer his passport data and other documents to the seller. We are talking about the amounts of transactions over 15 thousand rubles.
Is it worth it to implement such functionality internally and store information about transactions and documents in a social network, or is it necessary to separate such functionality into a separate product more similar to an online store. Interested in your opinion about the possible risks and examples from your practice.
Next, I wrote down questions that touch on key aspects of the problem in detail.
Do you think the buyer will accept the functionality to complete the transaction directly through the social network? Will the buyer agree to send documents electronically to the seller to complete the transaction?
Will the seller and the buyer agree to store data about their transactions in the social network?
Is it worth creating a social network with CRM and Internet commerce capabilities already integrated into it, or would it be preferable to split the project into two products?
A social network for finding customers and sellers and a separate product for making a deal online?
Consolidation seems to be a more convenient option from the point of view that the entire service for both the user and the buyer and seller will be in one place. My colleagues consider this option to be preferable.
Separation allows you to separate sensitive data from the social network. The social network serves to search for profitable offers by buyers. Sellers have the opportunity to find new buyers. As soon as it comes to a deal, they move to a safer place and conduct a deal, an order is placed, documents are transferred, the invoice is paid.
Is the user ready to store financial and personal information on the social network?

Of course not.
I can shop anywhere else and I don't need a passport. (regardless of 15,000, if we are talking about it)
Look for ways to get around the law - break a large payment into small ones, keep legal. face abroad, I don’t know how it is possible there. The main thing in online shopping is ease of use, transferring some kind of scans, and even documents, is NOT easy.
(I have not yet reached the point where I do not want to transfer personal data to Russian companies)

When I sent a passport scan to WebMoney, I was looking for ways not to do this. But alas, I had to (it was the easiest way for me to get a certificate).
Would I trust a passport scan to another site? Yes, not in life.
This is despite the fact that at all interviews and with past employers, scans of passports are lying around somewhere, but thank you for producing the essence of my papers also on the Web.

Google made it simple: is there soap? Do you want to go to YouTube quickly?
yes - we use soap data.
no - we do not use it, register separately.

Tried on myself. Most probably not.
Only if I made more than 1-2 transactions per month. Otherwise, I don't see the point.

What prevents you from drawing / retouching an existing passport and sending a scan of it? I don't see any protection here.
And yes, of course, in case of popularity, your network will be broken and all passports will be merged.

It is not known to transfer the scan to which service, so that it also keeps it unknown how - definitely not.
If the service is well-known, reliable and does not store my scan where they can steal even with a minimal probability - only if there are no other options.

Sign an agreement with WebMoney regarding the connection of your project to Keeper Embedded. Perhaps this will be a good decision
. As for scans... I trusted Facebook here and am not happy, but compared to this giant, your social network will obviously be less visited and known. This means that there will be less trust in her.
Although, to be honest, after watching sickeningly enough stories about sending paid sms, participating in pyramids and all kinds of scams, I won’t be surprised if some people post a scan right off the bat, if they are promised something very tempting

Do I need scans of passports in the online store? It will be enough for the client to fill in his data (full name, delivery address, contact phone number, well, and if you fasten payment by credit cards, then the form for entering data on the card), for feedback, respectively, the operator calls the client back. If there is a desire to still work with the social. networks, you can organize binding through OpenID, that is, if a person does not want to register, he can link registration to his social account. networks (Vkontakte, Odnoklassniki, Mail.ru and others.)
In the same way, you can build a feedback system - the client installs a certain application for himself, and communication with technical support or CC operators occurs through it.
IMHO, it would be more convenient to do so.

Will you have some unique, very significant super advantage that I can only buy such a product \ at such a price \ on such conditions from you?
Forgive me for asking a question, but I think that for many the answer to my question will coincide with the answer to yours.

The less the buyer has to fiddle with, the easier it is.
I will transparently hint that you can always use a debit / credit card.
As a rule, verification is required for such amounts, which is much more reliable than a scan.

Before that, I strongly recommend that you familiarize yourself with 152 of the Federal Law "On Personal Data".
