Will wordpress work?

Is wordpress suitable for creating a site with the following functionality? If not, then advise cms for such purposes.
Functionality:
1. Site-blog-mini social. network.
2. Registration of users, subscription, search by people.
3. The user can add articles, posts, media files, search for them, comment, like-dislike.
4. Little things. Avatar, user information, private messages.
functionality in general.

As the person above said, you will have to install several plugins on WP in order to acquire this functionality.

This is, of course, possible. Look towards the WP plugin - BuddyPress (although, of course, it is a bit confusing, IMHO)

Will do. WordPress has long ceased to be a regular CMS for creating a blog.
