Will Windows 7 work on new hardware?
I want to upgrade the hardware, but I don’t want to switch to Windows 10, I just want to get the system SSD from the old computer and put it in a new one, I plan to use the new one on the SuperMicro SYS-7049A-T server platform, there is a 621 chipset and a 3647 socket - so that it doesn’t become outdated for a long time, but there are doubts that Windows will feel fine on this hardware, since many manufacturers no longer produce firewood for the seven, but only for the top ten. Tell me, will everything be ok, or is it still not worth taking such new hardware?

remove the system SSD from the old computer and put in a new one
Getting a boot disk from an old computer and putting it in a new one is a so-so idea. Winda will certainly pull up - what she has. And what is not - will have to give. And this is server hardware, it is very specific. Here and on win7 there may not be firewood and on winX too :)
Everything will be ok. Some firewood will be pulled up by windows update. For the rest, go to supermicro support. But in general, you wouldn’t worry about server hardware. Non-server is also extremely stable, if not cheap on every sneeze.
Before disconnecting the disk from the old iron, replace (manually) the disk controller in Windows with the "Standard IDE controller", and in the new OS, simply update the driver.
There is a possibility that 7ku will not be able to be installed on new hardware. 7ka does not see the hard drive controller, loading the driver ends with an error. 7ka does not see the USB controller))). You don't have a mouse or keyboard. Perhaps the installation of an external USB controller in the mother will help. Haven't tried.
