Will WebCL be supported by popular browsers?
WebGL is actively developing (probably due to game development), there are no complaints about the graphic part, but it’s somehow expensive to do the calculation of physics and the like in JS (yes, where it’s expensive, it’s generally tin, since there is asm.js). It all comes down to what can be done better on the GPU?
Back in 2013, there are many articles about WebCL, but as a result, now we have this technology only in the form of an extension (and then, for some reason, Firefox swears at the signature), and actually when should we expect WebCL in desktop browsers by default?

But what, are there any that webgl does not support? In my opinion, all modern browsers can do this. Yes, there are problems with mobile variations. So, webgl does not go to windows phone, but goes to ios and android. But with the desktop - everything seems to be ok.
