On December 21, the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart) approved the national standard GOST R ISO/IEC 26300-2010 “Information technology. Open Document format for office applications (OpenDocument) v.1.0”. In accordance with the order, the standard comes into effect on June 1, 2011. The new Russian GOST is identical to the international standard ISO/IEC 26300:2006.
