Will they get downvoted on geektimes for presenting (advertising?) a free utility?
We are writing a utility that allows you to delete unnecessary RAW files. For those who do not know how or do not like to work with Lightroom, this program allows you to "just in case" take pictures in RAW + JPEG, and then select JPEGs, delete unsuccessful ones, and free up a lot of disk space by selectively deleting unnecessary RAWs.
IMHO, a very useful thing. I would like to present it using an account on Geektimes.
But it's scary that they will instruct minuses. Will they instruct or not instruct? Or is there some other way to make such a presentation?

Maybe they won’t downvote, but specifically advertising is allowed only in the “I’m promoting” section for a lot of karma. So it can fly from a UFO.
Advice: since it’s still free software, present not a utility (this is an advertisement), but an algorithm and code (preferably on github), with a story about what it serves, what it’s useful for, how they came to such a life, they decided to write it, in what wrote (a set of tools, especially if there are non-standard ones) and so on. For this, they usually give a fierce plus.
Well, they will instruct minuses, so what? Nightmare, how people are shaking for abstract numbers.
Maybe I'm wrong, but the gigtimes are just about such things, there was a post about the constructor not long ago, and nothing - pluses were put) Your application looks interesting, good luck to you)
There is already one marketing garbage in the main, so an article from the author-developer may be of interest to many, the main thing is to tell as colorfully as possible about development, tools, possibly failures and victories.
