Will there be demand for arduino?

Interesting opinion habr. In the near future we are opening an online store selling arduino and components throughout Russia, will it be in demand at reasonable prices? Or will ebay overshadow the small young store?

It all depends on the price tag.
I usually order Mega on eBay for $25 with free shipping. But then I had to buy in Moscow. The price tag is already 2500 rubles.!!! It was possible to find cheaper, but delivery on the same day was needed ...
So it all depends on the price and assortment. You have to look for extensions too.

Demand will certainly be, but you must first conduct market research. You do not want a profit of 500 rubles a month. As a main indicator for an online store (publicly accessible), you can use the forums of these sites (number of members\posts\threads, etc.). You can also calculate the amount of profit from one buyer, prices for contextual advertising (whether it will be profitable to PR through direct), calculate the break-even point and many other indicators.

What about the meaning? A store in the Russian Federation is convenient when you arrive and buy. Well, either the courier came, brought, took the money. And if an online store, mail, delivery and other hemorrhoids, then it’s already unprincipled where it comes from. Plus, an ebay seller with a high trust rating will have more than a store in .ru

Greetings to potential competitors :)
1. Do not count on high turnover. You can support yourself as much as possible by acting as a courier, accountant and answering machine.
2. Will you organize the import officially? Duties, VAT, customs clearance, certification ...
Or buy as an individual and share purchases with friends, so as not to be swept up and sell a gray product? Russian manufacturers do not have a choice.
In general, if you make a computer store - and sell arduino in it, among other things - then you can, but in itself such trade is only as a hobby.

I think there will be demand. Especially if there are convenient payment methods and delivery in a reasonable time. In this case, the delivery time is your significant plus.

How will your store differ from Amperka? amperka.ru, if it's not clear.
What are your perks compared to them? Or just want to take a bite out of the pie? :)

I buy in (in) Ukraine. So there seems to be a demand ;)
