the www folder has nothing to do with www in the address
if the migration is correct, the losses are minimal, usually for small-page sites

there is no point or need to do so.
when changing the mirror, the positions may well sink.

If you pull it out of the folder and remove www from the address, will the site lose positions?

If you do this, then all pages of the site will begin to give a 404 server response and the site will completely fall out of the search results with all the consequences.
If you need to configure the display in the issuance of a domain without WWW, this is done through the settings:
  1. in Yandex Webmaster's office,
  2. 301 redirects in htaccess file
  3. specifying the host in the robots.txt file (the recommendation is considered obsolete at the moment, but I would not neglect it).

the site will lose positions?
when setting up a domain name without WWW
Yes, the site will fail for a while, but then it will return positions.
To date, judging by the traffic data of the site you mentioned, these "failures" will not significantly affect the overall trends.
