Will the developments from the PhoneGap application be useful in native iOS and Android applications?
There was a task to develop a cross-platform mobile application on PhoneGap for Android and iOS. But in about a year, we plan to rewrite this application into a native ("native") iOS and Android application without any PhoneGap.
Can you please tell me whether the developments from the PhoneGap application will be useful when developing a native iOS and Android application? Like JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3? Wouldn't it be a waste of time to develop a PhoneGap application? Can I immediately develop using Java and Objective-C?
When rewriting a mobile application, we do not want to change the frontend (appearance), it will remain the same. We just want to get away from PhoneGap later and do everything using Java and Objective-C only. As far as I know, in native iOS and Android applications, the appearance (frontend) is just done using HTML and CSS. After all, in such applications there is such a thing as a "view" (view).
Please help me to sort out this issue. Suddenly time will be wasted. Thank you!
