What is its shelf life? I mean without recharging.
If it is stored like this for a long time, but after a few years I turn it on, recharge it, will it remain operational? What type of batteries are used in this device? What is their service life and storage? The packaging with the product should be kept warm, at room temperature.

The battery will degrade over time whether you use it or not.
You can only reduce the rate of destruction of the battery. Store should be at a charge of 40% in the cold.
