Will ryzen 3 2200g with 16gb of ram android studio+browser+atom open at the same time in linux mint to work in comfort mode?

I am struggling with the choice between ryzen 5 1600x (I have my own old gts 250 video card) and ryzen 3 2200g, and also whether I will need to buy additional memory chips, that is, whether to leave a slot on the motherboard, putting one 16GB or better, take two at once, 8GB each for a dual channel regime? The goal is programming in android studio, as well as simultaneously working in a browser, painters, atom text editor, filezilla, etc.

16 GB of RAM, I think it’s enough, unless of course you don’t open 100500 pages in the browser. You can put in 2 channels, 2 normal hands are better than one huge)). Ryzen from AMD, and for Android development it is preferable to Intel (it has hardware acceleration, without which AVD will be severely buggy, but I also have AMD. I solved the problem by testing on a physical smartphone). So the processor is powerful, I think it will be enough for your purposes

GTS250 send to Avito, get rid of this antiquity. There is no point in pairing it with a modern 2200g, whose Vega 8 integrated graphics will tear the ancient geeforce like Tuzik a heating pad. In addition, the GTS250 simply does not support hardware video decoding, i. if, for example, you want to play a 4K 60FPS video on a discrete graphics, then decoding will load the processor. If you play on Vega 8, then the graphics processor will decode in hardware, and the central processor will rest. And who knows where else the ancient architecture of the GTS250 can come back to haunt, which, apparently, you want to adapt only because "well, it's there, it's a pity to throw it away."

As Genrikh Belyakov wrote, the emulator will be very buggy on AMD. Maybe this problem has already been solved somehow, back in the summer I literally ran into the same problem. Decided to use Genymotion. Free version can be found here https://www.genymotion.com/fun-zone/
