Will running programs on a virtual machine ruin the computer that is running it?
I have a Windows 10 computer with an Oracle VM virtual box installed on it.
Ubuntu is installed on the virtual machine. On Ubuntu, I plan to do experiments, that is, learn low-level languages and run programs that, as far as I know, can access the central processor. But there is such an idea, will my main computer on Windows 10 not be corrupted even if I mess up memory addresses and so on, I create things on Ubuntu inside a virtual machine.

I think that if the author finds an opportunity to damage his main OS from the guest OS, then he is a mega-cool hacker and you can safely start a technical security critical-bug in Oracle.
No. The main thing is not to connect a physical disk (but it’s not so easy to connect it).
Theoretically, the virtual machine emulates everything, and no actions can go outside.
