Will PXE boot work if the motherboard does not support this type of boot?

Good afternoon colleagues.
Doubts arose on a certain issue. There is a xen7 server, two VMs are spinning in it, win server 2012r2 with citrix director
and win8, into which the video card (gtx970)
is forwarded does not by itself support PXE. But there was a proposal to install GRUB and configure it to boot via PXE. How feasible is this?

buy an intel network card and don't waste your brains
