Will old Sketch App files open if I upgrade?

I last updated my Sketch about a year ago. Now I have a rather large-scale project, a lot of pages have been made. Please tell me, if I update my version of Sketch, will there be any problems with opening old files later? And is it worth updating, ie. During this time, something significant has appeared?

It's worth updating - a lot of good innovations (for example, prototyping)
