Parsing

Will it be faster to download data from the site with a parser than just importing it from the store's excel price list?

Adding products to the site. Will it be faster to download data (product characteristics) with a parser from manufacturer sites than simply importing them from excel price list? Naturally, in the price list, not all characteristics are presented in a digestible form. Does it make sense to bother with a parser? What are the downsides of this approach?
PS: 3-10 characteristics per product. 50-500 items per category. There are about 7-10K goods in total.

Personally, with such an amount, it’s faster for me to make a parser than to collect everything from the pages with my hands.
But in your case, everything depends on the search for an artist who can
a) parse all the data
b) import it into your CMS.
the second task, unfortunately, can cost more if there are no ready-made import modules...
