Upwork

Will I get paid if the client doesn't close the deal on the watch project?

The client created a 30 hour/week deal for a minor job.
I completed the work on January 27 in 1 hour and now it hangs open. The client says that her payment will most likely take place only next week (according to the rules of the upwork, everything seems to be correct), let the work hang open.

I have two questions:
1. Will I get paid if the client doesn't close the deal?
2. Will I receive money if the client closes the deal now? Taking into account the fact that the deal was executed for 30 hours a week, and I worked for 1 hour.

1. Get it. You don't need to close anything. Under this open contract, the client can periodically give you tasks and you will simply complete and track them.
2. Get it.
You can close if you need feedback (for example, you are a beginner), then this makes some sense.

Even if the client decides to dump you, but you did the work and handed it over, the upwork can compensate for the losses, and he will deal with it himself. Opening a task on upwork is not for you on fl.ru. There is a responsibility

Guys, thank you all for your replies. Asked the client to close the job if no new assignments are foreseen in the near future. Transaction closed, good feedback received :)
