Will dual-channel mode work with soldered memory and a dual die?

Good afternoon, there is an ASUS Vivobook X 512FA laptop, stock 8 RAM became scarce, but since there is only one replacement connector, I ordered a dual memory chip for 16 GB (2 by 8), and the question is whether it will work in dual-channel mode considering steamed 4 GB RAM and if not, is it possible to somehow turn off the steamed die?
