Will data be lost when updating SSD firmware?

I have a 240 GB Silicon Power Slim S70 SSD in my hands. I recently found out that there is a newer firmware for it, but I was interested in the question of whether my data will be overwritten on the disk when updating the firmware? I mainly keep the Windows 8.1 operating system and the most important work programs (IDE, Open Server, some utilities) on it.

See firmware notes. Some updates clear the disk, some don't.
In any case - backups.
