This is more of a problem in the provinces with the private sector, where there are strong surges during the shutdown that burn household appliances and electronics. And that is not a common occurrence.
Modern hardware is protected from these types of problems, but in any case, it does some harm.
I would be more worried about data loss.
The probability of electronics failure when turning off (and even turning on) electricity is greatly increased.
Quite a long time ago I watched a budget control, where in one room the light turned off and almost immediately turned on several times a day, for years (yeah, no one fixed it, well, it blinked, okay) ... the hard drive looked like a field after the bombing, it was all covered with bad blocks

There are also software problems, when the computer is abnormally turned off without a battery for backup power and a properly configured automatic shutdown system, the file system is damaged, files become error-prone, data is lost and the OS breaks down until it needs to be reinstalled (it is not always possible to fix it) - this is also considered a breakdown, just amenable to repair
