Will an SSD increase laptop battery life?

The laptop has an HDD from Western Digital.
The choice of SSD fell on the Samsung 860 EVO at 250Gb.
I read reviews - they write that it is not very good with energy efficiency in laptops.
What else can you suggest?
In terms of price / quality ratio, Samsung is better than the rest, but you never know.
PS or take this samsung and not fool your head? price - 5200 rubles.

Will increase the "effective" operating time, i.e. during the same time, more tasks related to the hard disk will be performed by reducing the time to load / write data

Will an SSD increase laptop battery life?

Don't believe this nonsense. At the time of operation, what is SSD, what is HDD, what is SSHD, they consume as much energy as indicated on the packaging or on the official website of the manufacturer. Basically the same.

Well let's go.
In an adequate price segment (below 50k), there is nothing on the market that does SSD from Samsung. And even something closely comparable to them in quality. Actually, I even have two living stories on this topic:
1) I took an SSD this summer, I considered the 860 PRO model of samsa - I brought it, stuffed it, transferred Windows. Since Windows is the seventh, the tests were within the normal range, but far from fire:
But sometimes there were such going beyond the scope of understanding
2) My friend took a cheaper version of that two days before same drive 860 EVO . In general, the difference between EVO and PRO is "durability". Internet forums claim that PRO lives a couple of years longer.
Testing this disk on the tenth Windows, we were able to squeeze 500 + MB out of it .
In both cases, moving the system itself to an SSD gave very significant results. The increase in speed was noticeable in all processes - whether it was system startup, applications, games, or any other load on the file system.
