WiFi router. Determining the signal strength (RSSI) of all devices in the field of view

Good day!

The question is: is it possible in principle using a flashed wi-fi router to find out the signal level to all wifi devices in the visibility zone, such as a phone or laptop, but not necessarily connected specifically to this router.

There is a wonderful program for these purposes - Ekahau HeatMapper. Take a laptop with the installed program, load the building plan into it, then walk around the entire territory by alternately clicking the mouse in the place on the map where exactly you are at the moment. The program, analyzing the level of signals at control points, draws such very clear maps:

But you need to take into account that devices can receive a signal in different ways. That is, the laptop at this point will confidently receive the signal, unlike the phone, which will barely catch it.

This can be done with CommView for WiFi. By means of a router, most likely it is impossible.

You can determine the RSSI of all devices that operate in AP (Access point) mode using Inssider , for example, and clients only directly when there is a connection in any other way.
Scan AP (Access point) using router tools wl scan && sleep 1 && wl scanresults(Oleg's firmware).
