Wifi radio on arduino. Where to begin?
I have long wanted to play with arduino. Flashing LEDs is somehow not very interesting. But a few days ago, a real challenge emerged. My father's radio is broken. The presence of Wi-Fi in the parents' house suggested the idea of making him a small device for listening to radio on the World Wide Web)
In Google search results, I stumble upon options with altering the router or using raspberries. Is there really no easier way to play streaming mp3?

I would take a close look at the above project and consider how to translate it to the ESP8266 WiFi module.
ps: And IMHO the beauty of conventional radio is just independent of the Internet and other things. I ordered a TEA5767 for myself for such purposes, but so far the truth hasn’t given him a mind + even bungled an amp based on some of the TDA.
