WiFi problem, how to fix?

I installed ubuntu, sometimes wifi just doesn't work, or rather the Internet is not available, there are no such problems with windows, how can I fix it?

The same trouble with ubuntu starting from 13.10
I installed mint and everything works fine.

Installing Compat Wireless should resolve the issue.

If you have a laptop, and most likely it is, turn off bluetooth. I struggled with this myself. If you need both wi-fi and bluetooth to work together, then really go to Google, forums, etc.
