Wifi or Wifi+3G to the village? (Lugansk region)
Hello,
I have this story: I live in Moscow, my uncle and aunt are in a very small town (more like a village), Miusinsk, on the border of the Lugansk and Donetsk regions, and they want mail/Skype. My uncle and aunt never used a computer, so I thought a tablet would be better than a laptop. However, I have absolutely no idea what to focus on in terms of the Internet. Last year, I saw ads about wifi on poles, but I didn’t think to call and find out what was going on. I wanted to ask a question on a semi-living forum of the city nearby, but their registration is broken.
Perhaps someone can tell:
- does it make sense to focus on the regional 3g or for skype it will not be enough and you can not spend money on supporting 3g with a tablet?
- can it be that wifi is done via satellite and specific software will be needed for work (i.e. a tablet will not work)?
Or maybe there are other pitfalls?
Thanks in advance!

You can not spend money on 3G, because. it's not just not enough, but most likely just not there.
and the usual Internet, at least there is no adsl? so the router would be installed and not steamed with this unstable 3G and incomprehensible Wi-Fi from the pole.
But if you choose, wifi is better
You can look in the direction of coverage tel, intertelecom - 3zh, life. Kyivstar, MTS - edge / gprs, MTS seems to have 3zh too, only MTS Ukraine! = MTS Russia
