Wifi not working on linux ubuntu laptop. How to connect?
Today I installed Linux for the first time. Ubuntu version 18.04 LTS (from the official site). But unfortunately the wi-fi module does not work. I don’t understand what to do at all, the laptop model is Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 15 2019. When I boot into Windows, wi-fi works fine, that is, the problem is somewhere in the software, but after digging around, I realized that I couldn’t solve the problem myself. I can’t connect my laptop to the Internet via a cable either, it doesn’t have an Ethernet interface. How to connect wi-fi?

Show the contents of the 01-netcfg.yaml file by opening it in the Terminal:
sudo nano /etc/netplan/01-netcfg.yaml
I found a solution to the problem https://askubuntu.com/questions/1182722/intel-wire... It
remains to understand how you can connect a laptop to the Internet.
Who will read the logs for you?
Check dmesg for firmware loading errors.
If there are, then install the linux-firmware package. Further on the circumstances.
Almost the same problem on an old HP Core i3. While there were ten all the rules. As soon as I installed Ubuntu 18 LTS, regular disconnects started. Subjectively, I see that the sensitivity of the receiver antenna in the laptop is very low. I sin on worthless firewood. So it didn't heal.
Workaround: When I turn on the smartphone in wifi-point mode and put it next to the laptop case, the connection appears.
