Wifi card does not work under Windows, it works in ubuntu, what should I do?
I decided to change the wifi card on a toshiba satellite l40 laptop, replaced it with a Realtek RTL8188CE taken from a non-working lenovo, turned it on, Windows XP found a new device, slipped the driver, after installing wifi in the device manager with an exclamation mark, "This device was stopped because it reported about (Code 43)"
I tried different drivers, even Lenovo's from the donor's laptop, it does not help.
I ran ubuntu 15.10 from a flash drive, everything works out of the box.
What is the problem? can anyone come across?
PS I read about the whitelist in the BIOS, is this the case? although it works under ubuntu...

Try installing an additional utility for working with WIFI from the manufacturer of the laptop or network card. It often happens that third-party programs solve this problem. At least that's how it was for me when setting up the Sony Vaio.
