Wi-Fi switches from n to g when Internet sharing is enabled, what could be the reason?

There is a Mac mini (mid 2011) working as a router, when Internet sharing is turned on, the network switches to channel 11 (regardless of which one was previously selected, and from 2.4 and 5 GHz it switches to channel 11) and the Wi-Fi of the computer says which does not support the n protocol at all. If sharing is disabled, both 802.11n and five GHz channels appear.

Client equipment does not support n. For example, your computer's WiFi adapter cannot connect to networks higher than the g standard and therefore the speed is automatically reduced.

Then one more question, there are two devices on the network: iPad mini Retina, it supports the n standard, and iPhone 4S - it supports n only at a frequency of 2.4GHz, I tried to turn off WiFi in the iPhone, so it should not have affected the network, but The result is the same. What other reasons could there be?
