Wi-fi stopped working on a laptop with ubuntu 18.04, what should I do?

Good evening.
Installed on my old asus xubuntu laptop. The flight is normal. The wifi just stopped working.
The panel displays only the Internet icon, in the applet settings there is an option to enable the network and Wi-Fi.
I turned it on but it still doesn't work.
I also read on the forums that you need to press fn + f1, f2 , but this did not help.
Tell me what to do?
After all after installation worked.
Something must have gone wrong after installing the update.
