Wi-fi router as a signal booster

The challenge is this: I have a wireless router that is connected to a cable from the main router (the main router distributes Internet access). There is no signal through neighboring offices through several walls. Can I, after some distance from the wireless router, put another one that could receive the signal and transmit it further (work kag-be in repeater mode)? Tell me if this is possible? And what is the best way to proceed in this case?

You can install a router, yes. But in general there is a separate class of devices - access point. They are usually cheaper.

Yes, you can, in my office some D-Link point worked quite well, for about a year in repeater mode

1. It is better to stretch the lace to the far cabinets and put an access point there. when relaying (repeater), the transmission speed drops by 2 times
2. Another option is to connect the access point DHP-w306av dlink.ru/ru/products/16/1356.html via PoE (normal wiring 220v) , and connect it near the main router PoE adapter DHP-306AV dlink.ru/ru/products/16/1345.html
