Why would zone registrars buy their domains?
I ran into a problem, I wanted to buy a domain and it is already taken. This could be the end, but the registrar himself is indicated in the contacts, and the questions to them "is this yours? and why do you need it?" - they have one answer: "ours, but none of your business." A little poke I find a number of other registered domains, some fresh ones, for their own company. It turns out they are buying up all the beautiful domains.
Can anyone tell me why they buy their own product?

It's called cybersquatting
. It's easy to treat. Register a trademark and file a lawsuit.
The main thing is to register a brand before breaking through the domain.
Ps penetration is often fixed by the registrar and you find yourself in a strange situation
Resell, but at a "free" price. As a rule, it is not the registrars themselves who do this - they always have lured firms for this (created by the registrars themselves, but allegedly private). You show up for an auction for a beautiful four-letter letter - and it immediately appears and starts to increase the price. If you are filming or just don’t raise the price and he wins, he doesn’t have to pay anything, the rules are so cunningly written there.
