Why won't Youtube launch on Macbook pro 2012?

I bought a used Macbook pro 2012
and decided to go to YouTube, not to go from safari and chrome. I drove in a request, they say YouTube stopped working on old poppies, is that true? And now I won't be able to log into YouTube forever?

Rave. I have been using a macbook since 2008 on El Capitan. No problems found.
When buying, I advise you to completely demolish OSX and reinstall it. For safety. Nobody knows what the previous owner installed before you (kyeyloger etc...).
