Why won't Windows xp start after installing Ubuntu 14?

Installed Ubuntu on a PC with windows xp preinstalled. Ubuntu works, but when I start wundows xp, a black screen appears and nothing happens. How to solve the problem?

Perhaps the boot sector for windows has been erased. Need to be restored.
