Why won't Windows SDK 10.0.22000.0 install?
After upgrading VS 2022 RC to LTSC, there was a problem with building C++ console applications - C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10 folder disappeared. This problem happened before on VS 2019 and VS 2022 RC and I solved it by copying the Windows Kits folder from another machine (virtual) and also creating a v10.0 branch in the registry.
In the case of VS 2022 LTSC, this method did not work, and then, on the advice of MS, I tried to install the SDK myself.
When installing Windows SDK 10.0.22000.0, I get a zero result (both when choosing a workload in VS Installer, and when online / offline). At the same time, in the case of offline installation, it is clear that the process is going well, but at 60% the rollback and deletion of the previously installed files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10 starts.
Removing the Studio both by means of the Studio itself (using the Installer and InstallCleanup.exe) and manually cleaning the registry and disks did not give a positive result.
How to solve this problem?
