Why won't Windows boot from the installation disc?
I'm having problems with my hard drive. Once, the computer was stupid so that I could not browser, after rebooting after entering the password, the dots (Win 8.1) were spinning forever. After the next reboot, the message "Preparing automatic recovery" appeared. By the way, the computer "Troubleshooted" all day and did not fix it.
The only time I managed to boot from the Windows installation disk, I got into the command line and typed C: The cursor hung for a minute and wrote "Unable to access due to an I / O error on the device."
I have never been able to boot from disk again. Neither with 7 nor 8. 8 hangs a black screen, and then falls with blue death. 7 infinite "Setup is starting" with round cursor.
I also booted from a Windows liveCD. There I ran chkdsk, which checked for a day and did not check. He found a bunch of bad sectors, but nevertheless got access to the disk. Diskpart also shows all partitions, but when I try to detail volume (the volume with Windows is selected), it says that there is no access.
My question is: firstly, is this a problem of the disk or maybe the interface, and secondly, will formatting the main partition help me? ?
