Why won't Windows 8.1 install?

Good evening!
There is an Asus K40IN laptop, tuned for Linux from the very beginning.
Actually, until recently, Linux Mint was on it and everything was great.
However, recently I decided to change the OS to Windows 8.1 and got an error during installation

Windows cannot install required files. The file does not exist. Make sure you have all the files required for the installation and restart the installation. Error code: 0x80070002

At first, I thought that I downloaded a non-working image and downloaded another one - it didn't work. Then I tried almost everything: various original images and assemblies from Vasyan, windows 10, windows 8, and this error still crashes.
I tried to google on the code - it says to update the "Update Center"
What to do, tell me?

Дальше я перепробовал почти все: различные оригинальные образы и сборки от "Васяна", windows 10, windows 8, и все так же вылетает эта ошибка

Вы уверены что оригинальные образы были оригинальными?

Говорят, некоторые ноутбуки по какой-то причине несовместимы с 8.1

Поцарапаный диск, инфа 100%. Или дисковод. Или usb-порт.
А ставить лучше всего утилитой от Майков. Но она качает тоько последнюю ОС, т.е. 10ку. Эх, мечты, мечты
P.S. Регулярно так порчу инсталлеры)

Винда на диске? Случайно не на максимальных оборотах писали?
