Why won't the virtual machine start in ESXi?

There is a virtual machine with Linux CentOS installed. It was on ESXi6, I converted Hardware Compatability, or rather downgraded it, through VMWare Workstation to ESXi5.5 so that you can run it on another hypervisor (ESXi5.5). But when you start the VM, it swears with the error "Failed to start the virtual machine (error -18)"
And as soon as you did not try to transfer the VM, even though through vShpere Converter it gives the same error.
I don't understand what to do?

Создайте новую VM без диска, выдерните из старой vmdk и положите в новую.
