Why won't the UEFI entry be removed with efibootmgr?
Good evening,
Background:
Ubuntu was installed on the laptop as a second OS, then when I tried to change the order of the OS in the grab menu at boot, GRUB was successfully 'killed'. After it was restored using this software, everything went automatically.
At the moment everything works fine, BUT in UEFI and in the menu when you press F11 in which we select the device to boot, there is the "Linpus lite" OS (as a device) that has never been installed on this PC (the laptop is new, or am I talking about it I don't know...).
menu F11:
In UEFI when setting boot priorities:
I tried to remove this OS using the utility (in ubunt it was by default) efibootmgr
And here's the most interesting thing!
After the reboot, this OS is again automatically added to the list of devices!
I tried to delete it from windows (using similar utilities), but the result is similar, this entry is simply NOT DELETE.
PS: I will be glad to any ideas, I will give the output of any commands, etc. as quickly as possible.
